PHYSICAL THEATRE ABOUT REPRESSION OF EMOTION AND ROLES GIVEN BY SOCIETY

The text „The public“ from Federico García Lorca (1930) describes a journey in which the body explores it‘s capacity of loving. Through constant changes of masks and wild metamorphosis, we explore identity as a social performance and ask for a plural way of considering all individuals: in a plural, changing way, composed from images from the past, the present and the future. García Lorcas text is the starting point for a fragmentary collage of danced images, which circles the question: how near can we actually get to each other?
